150 Years of Gustav Klimt’s Birth

Today the world celebrates 150 years of the birth of my favourite artist Gustav Klimt. I had the chance to see some of his amazing artworks in live in Belvedere palace Vienna and I was really impressed. “The Kiss” his most famous painting is a real masterpiece, impressive with its size and unique technique. When you stand in front of it you can feel the great talent of this Austrian Symbolist who is in my opinion the most prominent member of the Vienna Secession movement. Let everybody who admire Gustav Klimt’s art honour his memory today.

The photo features one of my Fashion designs – a dress with hand-painted reproduction of the famous painting “The kiss” by Gustav Klimt. This is one of my early works which was sold in Japan. Made of silk this unique dress is 100% pained by hand and especially designed to represent this beautiful painting:
