SAVANNA – Original painting oil on canvas – framed

Original oil painting a capture of the beautiful savanna. A mother elephant and her child under the burning African sun, where only the strongest can survive. During the dry season air vibrates saturated with heat and the sky turns almost golden blue blending with the colour of the dead grass. Amazing light and palette hard to achieve with paints but nature does it so amazingly with her invisible brush. My hope is that the future generations will be able to see such wildlife scenes in reality not just on paintings or in films and that Elephants, these beautiful Gentle giants and other savanna creatures threatened with extinction will be saved.
This painting is varnished with high class Winsor-Newton Conserv-art gloss varnish for quality protection and is finished wide 4.5 cm (2″) luxury frame in grey and and antique gold, ready to hang on a wall.
